View (to be changed) - why it is like this?? It could have been the other way
for the betterment!!
2. Second
View (In favour)- ok! It is fine this way! Let me checkout the possibilities to
use it at the best benefit! may be both are right!!! In their own opinion!
Let’s take first
example of
Ganesh festival in
India the way it is happening currently with spreading pollutions or the way it
was started for social gatherings and wellbeing of human lives!
It is actually unknown when this
festival started but It became a major social and public event with sponsorship
of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj after
Mughal-Maratha wars. It became popular again in the 19th century after public
appeal by Indian freedom fighter Lokmanya Tilak, who
championed it as a means to circumvent the colonial British government ban on
Hindu gatherings through its anti-public assembly legislation in 1892.
In my views to be
changed (1st Way):
The objective of this festival was
social gatherings (celebrating togetherness), family wellbeing & worshiping.
kids are learning social discipline, family responsibilities and spreading
happiness. With other elements, social benefits are too many and those are the
key element of this festival. Families are visiting to each other’s house,
attending the aarti’s, taking prasad, decorating the own house, families are
collectively joining, traditional wearing, keeping the House doors open for the
maximum time.
It was then and even today also
developing as Socio-Economic environment for the home-grown businesses like
potter for making the idols (of the
clay), sweet makers, decorators,
many more other businesses related to the same.
Thanks to the environmental
awareness of the Public at least few of them are thinking in these lines to
make it environment friendly by making the idols of Clay; so that the visarjan
can happen on the small water tub and later that can be poured into your garden
with no pollutions; we ourselves are
doing it from past 2 years. Some of them are making it at home with seed-links;
which becomes a small tree after visarjan. Few people are making the Ganesh ji
idols of chocolate; which they mix it with the milk and distribute it to the
needy people. In some places Ganesh Ji has been made of raw bananas and by the
time of visarjan they can distributed it as prasad. (***Although I am not in
favour of making Ganesh Ji with edible things and doing visarjan in a
compatible liquid drink and serve them to the devotees or give them as
prasad***).
On a flip-side:
lately it has become the symbol of
Show-off & power game, loud bands, DJ’s, Drink & Dances on roads,
platform for political propaganda (Faces of Promotors are bigger then the
Ganesh Ji).
Idols are made of POP which looks
glossier, less costly and of less weight but since not dissolvable in the water
and non-decomposable so generating heavy pollutions. Spoiling the ponds, rivers
and coast lines. In the line of managing these non-decomposable materials the
actions are unforgivable. The loud DJ’s and Band are really ear bursting and
creating nuisance. People are drinking and dancing during the Ganesh Visarjan.
So ultimately responsible lies with
all of us to make it better and show that better ways to our upcoming
generations!!!
Objective of social wellbeing
should not be at the cost of spoiling the nature or natural resources.
Perspectives are for betterment,
adoptability and for improvement…so that our coming generations can feel proud
on us and carry the better learnings with the nature.
Let’s take second example of
Current circular of heavy penalties on voiding the traffic rules in India...!
I am looking at as in favour (2nd way):
It is good, and it should be like
this. Heavy and strict; so that riders will be forced to think it before
breaking the traffic rules!!!
Most of us as Indians are feeling pride
in breaking the rules. It is good in creative directions and could be
appreciated but should not be on the road for breaking the traffic rules!!!
Vehicles are nothing less than
weapons on the road; until it is in the right and skilled hands with stable
mind!!! They solve your purpose but if not then they can do any damage of any
extent!!!
Ask them about the pain who has
lost their sons, daughters, father or mother or any close relatives in the road
accidents due to the mistakes of the others driving.

What is the major cause of road
accidents in India???
(1) Over Speeding - On the roads
where drivers over enthusiastic behaviour on the road kills someone for no
faults. I feel ashamed that until few years back I was one of them...over
speeding use to thrill me.
By the grace of god: never had any
casualties in those time. But eventually it is not the right way at all.
(2) drunken driving - they think 🤔 that
are in full control and can manage driving vehicles with no challenges after
just few pegs. Sorry folks it is not you are talking!!! 99%, it is an alcohol
talking from inside of you.
Be aware about those friends ....
who says after few pegs: “Ab driving Tera bhai karega“ (“Now your Brother will drive”)
(3) Distractions to the driver-
Reason could be anything but it can cost you or someone else majorly.
(4) Disobeying the traffic rules-
How seriously we take the traffic signals on the empty roads or even in the
rush until we see the police cop 👮♀ is standing on the other side?
Flip the side: We
may also see another side of it that our road infrastructure is also not up to
the mark and off course Govt is responsible for the same.
Bottlenecks, path holes, leftover
hurdles, unfinished work without signs and what not...it delays the traffic in
the majorities of the city like crazy. Bad traffic experiences are commonly
observed, and people literally spend their most of the driving time managing
bumper to bumper driving traffic. That brings a lot of frustration and irritations
which in return gives anxiety and uncontrollable behaviour.
Govt must take quick actions to
sort out these fundamental issues.
Agreed!!! we are facing
challenges and govt should work towards to make it better; but it is still not
giving us the moral right to break the basic rules and trouble the society.
Ultimately as a responsible citizen
we should not hold back ourselves to perform own responsible behaviour.
Let's be a better citizen and
encourage seeding this behaviour into our coming generations and give them
better tomorrow.
Conclusion:
So, there are different prospective for various matters in
the life. People think differently for the similar conditions and act
differently.
RIGHT or WRONG becomes subjective.
Being in our own condition everyone must decide what is good and what is not. Accordingly,
decisions are made. Two sides of coin and both do exist. Its only that we can
see one side at a time……...!
